Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is one of the diseases associated with impingements along the brachial plexus. Other brachial plexus diseases are thoracic outlet syndrome and ulnar nerve compression. Common Symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome include numbness, weakness and tingling in the hands; neck pain or soreness in the wrists and elbows.
The workshop will focus on a yoga practice that affects the lines of energy from the neck to the hands. Those with arthritis in the hands will also benefit. It will include instruction on the proper use of the hands and hand stretching to alleviate Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. The sequence will be based on information gleaned from over 30 years of teaching yoga to those with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and other similar injuries. There will be some discussion of yoga’s importance in quantum biology and healing.
The recording of the workshop will be posted to union.fit the day after the live workshop. It is available free of charge to all registrants for two weeks.
